Veg Wonton Soup
Veg wonton soup is a healthy soup prepared with mix vegetables. Normally wontons are used for non-veg fillings but you can use mix vegetable for fillings. This soup is not very rich or spicy. You may increase the quantity of chilies or pepper to make it hot.
Wonton wrappers are easily available in the market.
Ingredients we will need to make this soup :
Wonton wrappers : . . . . . . . . . 1 packet
Carrot (gajar) : . . . . . . . . . . . one or two
Peas (mattar) : . . . . . . . . . . . . 50 grams
Sweet corn (makai) : . . . . . . . . 50 grams
Tofu cheese (firm variety) :. . . . 50 grams
Pepper powder (kali mirchi) : 1 tea spoon
Corn flour (makke ka atta) : 2 table spoon
Sugar (shakkar) : . . . . . . . 1 table spoon
Veg stock cube : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . one
Vegetable stock : . . . . . . . . . . . 3 cups
Oil (tel) : 2 table spoon
Coriander leaves (hara dhania)
Parsley
Salt (namak) as per your taste
Boil finely chopped carrots, peas and sweet corn in a pressure cooker for five minutes. Remove it from water and add tofu, pepper powder and veg stock cube. Crush and mix it well. Add little salt if required. (veg stock cube is already having salt). Let it season for an hour.
Now fry this mixture in oil for two to three minutes. Wrape it with wonton wrappers and boil wontons in water.
Heat vegetable stock and add coriander leaves and corn flour. (mixed in little water) Add sugar and salt and cook for five minutes. Add boiled wontons in the stock and garnish veg wonton soup with parsley.
