Sweet and Sour Chicken - recipe for less spicy dish

Ingredients we will need to make this dish:

Chicken : . . . . . . . (approximate) 1 kg

Refined flour (maida) : . . . 4 table spoon

Corn flour (makke ka atta) : 1 table spoon

Baking powder : . . . . . . . . 1/2 tea spoon

Red chili powder (lal mirchi) : 1 tea spoon

Egg (anda) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . one

Capsicum (simla mirchi) : . . . . . . . . two

Carrots (gajar) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . one

Onion (pyaj) : . . . . . . . . . . . one large

Pineapple slice (fresh or tin) : 3 to 4

Oil (tel) : for deep fry

Salt (namak) as per your taste

For sauce:

Soy sauce : . . . . . . . . 1 table spoon

Vinegar : . . . . . . . . . . 1 table spoon

Sugar (shakkar) : . . . . . 1 table spoon

Tomato ketchup : . . . 4 table spoon

Sweet and sour chicken requires good seasoning period. Marinate chicken in four table spoon refined flour, salt, baking powder, egg, red chili powder and little water for over night.

Deep fry chicken pieces and remove them. Take three to four table spoon oil from the used oil and fry vegetables in it for two minutes. Add pineapple slice to these vegetables and cook till half done.

Mix ingredients of sauce and add this sauce to half cooked vegetables. Add one table spoon corn flour mixed with 1 1/2 cup of water and cook till it is thick. Now add fried chicken pieces.

Garnish sweet and sour chicken with coriander leaves.

Finely chopped green chilies (hari mirchi) : 2 to 3

Capsicum (simla mirchi) : . . . . . . two
