Prawns Spring Onion
Prawns spring onion is a very simple recipe to cook. This preparation is not very rich in calories but it is spicy. You may reduce the quantity of chili powder according to your taste. Ingredients we will need to make this dish: Prawns (jhinga) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 250 grams Spring onion (hari pyaj) : . . . . . . . . . . . . 3 to 4 Red chili powder (lal mirchi) : 2 1/2 tea spoon Coriander powder (dhania) : 1 1/2 tea spoon Cumin powder (jeera) : . . . . 1 1/2 tea spoon Turmeric powder (haldi) : . . . . 1/2 tea spoon Oil (tel) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2 table spoon Salt (namak) as per your taste Wash and de-vein prawns. Heat oil in a pan and fry finely chopped onion bulbs for two minutes. Add red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder and salt. Fry for half a minute and then add prawns. Stir fry for two to three minutes and add finely chopped spring onion leaves. Be sure that prawns are not over cooked. Serve with roti, chapati or steamed rice.
