Prawns Masala
Prawns masala is a simple dish, which can be made very light and less spicy or can be made rich and spicy.
Recipes for less spicy dish
Ingredients we will require to make a less spicy dish:
Prawns (jhinga) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 250 grams
Onion (pyaj) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 or 2
Green chilies (hari mirchi) : . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 or 2
Ginger garlic paste (adrak lasoon) : 1/2 table spoon
Turmeric powder (haldi) : . . . . . . . . . 1/2 tea spoon
Oil (tel) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1/2 table spoon
Coriander leaves (hara dhania)
Salt (namak) as per your taste
De-vein prawns and season it with turmeric powder and salt. Keep it aside for ten to fifteen minutes.
Grind onion and green chilies. Heat oil in a pan and fry onion paste for a minute. Add ginger garlic paste. Saute for half a minute and add prawns. Cook till prawns are done.
Garnish prawns masala with coriander leaves.

Ginger garlic paste (adrak lasoon) : 1 table spoon

Cumin seed (jeera) : . . . . . . . . . .1/2 tea spoon
Red chili powder (lal mirchi) : . . . . . 1 tea spoon
Garam masala powder : . . . . . . . 1/2 tea spoon
Oil (tel) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 3 table spoon
Coriander leaves (hara dhania)
Salt (namak) as per your taste
De-vein prawns and season it with red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt. Keep it aside for ten to fifteen minutes.
Grind onion and green chilies. Heat oil in a pan and fry onion paste for a minute. Add ginger garlic paste and cumin seed. Saute for half a minute and add prawns. Add garam masala powder and cook till prawns are done.
Garnish prawns masala with coriander leaves.
