Prawn Pakoda
Prawn pakoda is a prawn starter dish. This preparation is not very spicy and hot so increase the quantity of chilies as per your taste. Ingredients we will need to make this dish: Big size prowns (jhinga) : . . . . . . . . 8 to 10 Onion (pyaj) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . one Ginger paste (adrak) : . . . . . . . . 1 tea spoon Green chili (hari mirchi) : . . . . . . . . . . 1 or 2 Egg (anda) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . one Bengal gram flour (besan) : 2 to 3 table spoon Soy sauce : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 tea spoon Coriander leaves (hara dhania) Oil (tel) for deep frying Salt (namak) as per your taste Heat oil in a pan and fry chopped onion till just transparent. Remove it from oil and grind it with ginger, green chili and coriander leaves. Add egg, bengal gram flour, soy sauce and salt. Prepare a smooth batter. Now dip prawns in this batter and fry in oil till it is a crispy golden brown. Serve prawn pakoda as a starter or with steamed rice.
