Nawabi Gobi
Nawabi gobi is prepared with dry fruits and cream. This dish is full of calories and a treat by itself. Preparation is hot and spicy, so reduce the quantity of chilies as per your taste.

Red chili powder (lal mirchi) : 3 tea spoon
Coriander powder (dhania) : 1 table spoon
Turmeric powder (haldi) : 1 1/2 tea spoon
Dry mango powder (amchur) : 1 tea spoon
Poppy seed (khuskhus) : . . . 1 tea spoon
Garam masala powder : . . . 1 tea spoon
Curd (dahi) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 cup
Bengal gram flour (besan) : . . . 1/4 cup
Almond (badam) : . . . . . . . . . . 8 to 10
Cashew nut (kaju) : . . . . . . . . . 8 to 10
Butter (makkhan) : . . . . . . . .. 50 gram
Oil (tel) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 3/4 cup
Coriander leaves (hara dhania)
Salt (namak) as per your taste
Method of making Nawabi Gobi
Boil cauliflower with turmeric powder and salt.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry finely chopped onion till it is just transparent. Add finely chopped ginger, garlic, carom seed and green chilies. Fry it for a minute and then add red chili powder, coriander powder and poppy seed. Fry for a minute and then add chopped tomatoes. Let it cook till tomatoes are soft . Mix bengal gram flour with curd and add it to cooked tomatoes. Cook it for ten minutes. Stir continuously while cooking and then add boiled cauliflower, garam masala powder, dry mango powder, and crushed cashew nut and almonds. Mix it well and cook on slow flame for five minutes. Add little salt. (salt is already added while boiling cauliflower)
Garnish nawabi gobi with butter and coriander leaves.
