Mutton Chop
Mutton chop is a hot and spicy treat, full of protein and calories. Reduce the quantity of chilies to make it less hot.
Ingredients you will need :
Mutton (bone less) : . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 kg
Coconut grated (narial) : . . . . . . . 1/2 cup
Ginger garlic paste (adrak lasoon) : 3 table spoon
Green chilies (hari mirchi) : . . . . . 6 to 8
Pepper corn : . . . . . . . . . 1 table spoon
Clove (lavang) : . . . . . . . . . . . . 5 to 7
Cinnamon (dalchini) : . . . . . . . . . . 1 inch
Cumin seed (jeera) : . . . . . 1 table spoon
Turmeric powder (haldi) : . . . 1 tea spoon
Tomatoes (tamater) : . . . . . . . . . . . two
Onion (pyaj) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . three
Cashew nut crush (kaju) : 2 table spoon
Oil (tel) : . . . . . . . . . . . 3 table spoon
Coriander leaves (hara dhania)
Salt (namak) to taste
Marinate mutton in ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder and salt for an hour. Heat oil in pressure cooker and fry onion for a minute or till it is just transparent. Add pepper corn, chopped green chilies, clove, cinnamon, cumin seed and cook for another half a minute. Add chopped tomatoes, coconut and cashew nut and cook for a minute.
Now add marinated mutton in this preparation and cook for five minutes. Add a cup of water and pressure cook for ten minutes. Garnish mutton chop with coriander leaves.
