Mutton Mince Potato Tikki
Mince potato tikki is a well balanced starter recipe with protein, carbohydrates and fat. This dish can be enjoyed with chapati or butter nan. The preparation is spicy, so reduce the quantity of chilies as per your taste.

Mutton mince (keema) : . . . . . . . . 250 gram
Ginger paste (adrak) : . . . . . . 2 table spoon
Garlic paste (lasoon) : . . . . . . 1 table spoon
Spring onion (hari pyaj) : . . . . . . . . . . Three
Green chilies (hari mirchi) : . . . . . . . . 6 to 8
Red chili powder (lal mirchi) : . . . 1 tea spoon
Pepper powder (kali mirchi) : . . 1/2 tea spoon
Coriander powder (dhania) : . . . . 1 tea spoon
Cumin seed (jeera) : . . . . . . . . . 1 tea spoon
Cumin powder (jeera) : . . . . . . . 1 tea spoon
Clove powder (lavang) : . . . . . 1/4 tea spoon
Cinnamon powder (dalchini) : . . 1/4 tea spoon
Lemon juice (nimboo) : . . . . . . 2 table spoon
Eggs (ande) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . two
Semolina (rava or suji) : 2 table spoon
Coriander leaves (hara dhania)
Oil (tel) : for deep frying
Mint leaves (pudina)
Salt (namak) as per your taste
Method of making Mince potato tikki:
Marinate mutton mince with ginger, garlic, red chili powder and salt for one to two hours.
Boil potatoes, peel and mash it. Add lemon juice and mix it well.
Add half cup of water in mince and cook in pressure cooker for ten minutes. Transfer this cooked mince in a non stick pan and cook till water is evaporated and it is completely dry..
Roast cumin seed.
Add red chili powder, coriander powder, clove powder, cinnamon to cooked mince. Add finely chopped green chilies, roasted cumin seed, mashed potatoes, finely chopped spring onion leaves, coriander leaves and little salt. (salt is already added in mince) Mix it thoroughly.
Beat eggs and add salt. Mix it well.
Make round flat tikkies and roll it in semolina. Dip it in egg and deep fry on slow flame till it is golden brown.
Serve mince potato tikki with mint leaves and green chutney.
