Green Chicken Tikki
Green chicken tikki is a non-veg snack, prepared with chicken mince and spinach. It is a hot and spicy fried dish. Reduce the quantity of chilies according to your taste.
Ingredients you will require :
Minced chicken : . . . . . . . . . . . . 500 grams
Spinach (palak) : . . . . . . . . 2 leaves (small)
Ginger (adrak) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2 inch
Garlic (lasoon) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 6 to 8
Green chilies (hari mirchi) : . . . . . . . . 2 to 3
Pepper corn (kali mirchi) : . . . . . . . . 8 to 10
Bengal gram split (chana dal) : 2 table spoon
Corn flour : . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2 table spoon
Coriander leaves (hara dhania)
Mint leaves (pudina)
Oil (tel) for frying
Salt (namak) as per your taste
Blanch (just boil) spinach. Roast bengal gram split and grind it with spinach, ginger, garlic, green chilies, pepper corn, coriander leaves and mint leaves, till smooth paste is formed.
Mix it with minced chicken and add salt. Let it marinate for two to three hours.
Now add corn flour and mix it well. Make small cutlets and shallow fry from both sides till it is golden brown.
Serve green chicken tikki with tomato sauce.
