Egg Samosa





Egg samosa is rich starter or a snack. This is a double fried recipe, which is a spicy preparation so reduce the quantity of chilies as per your taste.

Ingredients you will require to make this dish :

Eggs (ande) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . four

Peas (mattar) : . . . . . . . . . . . . 1/2 cup

Cheese : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 100 grams

Onion (pyaj) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . two

Green chilies (hari mirchi) : . . . . 4 to 6

Coriander leaves (hara dhania) : 1/2 cup

Samosa wrapper : 10 to 12 (as required)

Flour (atta) : 1 table spoon

Oil for deep frying

Salt (namak) as per your taste

Boil peas in water till it is done.

Heat two table spoons of oil in a non stick frying pan and fry finely chopped onion till it is just transparent. Add finely chopped green chilies and fry for a minute. Now add beaten eggs and make scramble egg mixture. Add peas, grated cheese, chopped coriander leaves and salt. Mix it well.

Place this preparation on samosa wrapper and form a triangular shaped samosas. Seal the end with help of flour, mixed in little water. Deep fry egg samosa till golden brown.

Serve with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
