Chicken Spring Roll





Chicken spring roll is a balanced food preparation, with protein, carbohydrates and fat. It is a fried dish so high in calories. This preparation is spicy and you can decrease the quantity of chilies to make it less spicy and hot.

Ingredients you will need to make this recipe:

Boneless chicken breast : . . . . . . . . 500 gram

Spring roll wrappers : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . six

Eggs (ande) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . two

Red chilies (lal mirchi) : . . . . . . . . . . . . 3 to 4

Red chili flakes (lal mirchi) : . . . . . 1 tea spoon

Garlic paste (lasoon) : . . . . . . . . 1 table spoon

Black pepper powder (kali mirchi) : 1 tea spoon

Spring onion (hari pyaj) : . . . . . . . . . . . . two

Carrot (gajar) : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1/2

Green capsicum (simla mirchi) : . . . . . . . 1/2

French beans : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 5 to 8

Soy sauce : . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1 tea spoon

Barbecue sauce : . . . . . . . . . . . 1 tea spoon

Refined flour (maida) : . . . . . . . 1 table spoon

Oil (tel) for deep fry

Salt (namak) as per your taste

Method of making Chicken spring roll:

Marinate finely cut chicken with garlic, red chili flakes and salt for half to one hour.

Boil eggs separately.

Heat two table spoon of oil in a pan and fry finely chopped bulbs of onion till just transparent. Now add finely long cut red chilies, capsicum, carrot and french beans. Cook for a minute and then add black pepper powder, soy sauce and barbecue sauce. Fry for a minute and then add chicken and shredded eggs. Mix it well and cook till chicken is done and dry. Add finely chopped onion leaves.

Place this cooked chicken in one edge of a spring roll wrapper, which is readily available in the market. Roll it tight and stick the end with refined flour mixed in little water. Also stick ends with refined flour to prevent stuff coming out from sides. Now deep fry this roll till it is golden brown.

Serve chicken spring roll with mint leaves and tomato sauce.
